      Ins and Outs

My biggest learning point of this year is that nothing is (or must remain) forever and that change is often the best way forward. So the question is: what do I keep, what needs to go and what can be changed in 2026, to make the next part of my journey even better?

      OUT

      1. Mindless use of social media - this is a major one. I don't want to completely leave the platform(s) but I want to use them (instead of them using me, if that's still possible ;) for what I need them. Therefore: no scrolling through the posts, without paying attention to the content, and no frustration caused by hours lost on SM. Out with that!

      2. Not letting go - this really creates a physical and mental weight, especially if it comes to relationships that were important to me in the past. Some of them should just stay there. I've changed, you've (not) changed and we are not a good match anymore. Goodbye.

      3. Creating unnecessary busyness - OUT. I love being active and acomplishing things, but squeezing in additional tasks, just to tick off the boxes - so not done in 2026.

      IN

      1. Real presence - M. Niedzwiecka said: "Relationships don’t work because we are not present in them." and this is so true. Not only for the romantic relationships, but any kind of human interaction. I have nothing to add.

      2. Offline activities - reading, knitting, walking, exercising, working in the darkroom, writing on paper, visiting exibitions, traveling, meeting with people. Cooking, playing games, staring at the ceiling, cuddling, discussing life, getting bored.

      3. Regular physical activity - more of that! If I could keep only one thing from 2025, being active would be the thing. It's been such a game changer for the way I feel, nothing improves my energy and mood as quickly as 30 minutes training.

The list is much longer, but for now it's time to close the laptop and open a book!
